Key Ingredients:

Hydrolysed Quinoa: Penetrates the hair shaft allowing the molecules to smooth the cuticle of damaged hair. Makes the hair more flexible, reducing splitting and breakage and protecting the cuticle from further damage. Also helps to maintain vibrant hair colour.

Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract : Offers many benefits for the hair - primarily hydration and conditioning. Works to lubricate the hair, leaving it feeling hydrated, soft and more manageable. Also rich in potassium, which strengthens the hair with every application.

Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu) Fruit Extract: A superfood for hair, packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that helps protect, nourish, and promote healthy hair. It has the highest recorded natural levels of vitamin C of any plant in the world, making it a powerful antioxidant. Kakadu Plum is an exceptionally effective natural ingredient for achieving healthy and vibrant hair.

Cocos Nuciferia (Coconut) Oil:Great for your scalp, the nutrients in coconut oil are useful to improve the health of your scalp and to help grow stronger hair and hair roots. Coconut itself contains minerals, proteins, antioxidants and vitamins which are great for hair and scalp health. Coconut oil moisturizes the hair from root to tip as it's easily absorbed allowing it to better penetrate the hair compared with other oils. For this reason, it is better at hydrating and repairing dry, damaged hair.

Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Leaf Extract:This oil is composed of high amounts of unsaturated fatty acids, minerals and vitamins making it a strong antioxidant. It moisturises, protects and rejuvenates the hair, making it ideal for dry, damaged or brittle hair needing reinforcement.

Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid: Helps to seal the cuticle, locking in moisture and taming unwanted frizz.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Packed with nutrients, fatty acids, Vitamins A & E, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, and Zinc to improve the overall health of your hair. Helps to keep the hair soft and hydrated, excellent for all hair types.

Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Fruit Extract: Particularly rich in antioxidants, protects the hair from environmental stressors like pollution and UV rays, maintaining it's strength and shine. The B-Vitamins in Vanilla also play a crucial role in promoting hair growth and reducing hair breakage.

Tocopheryl Acetate & Tocopherol (Vitamin E):Great for promoting hair growth, and has even had some success in perpetuating new hair growth in Alopecia sufferers!

Phospholipids:Supports healthy hair follicles, healthy scalp fertility for hair growth and healthy hair. Phospholipids help detangle, smoothen hair, add shine and strengthen hair by “linking” conditioning hair ingredients to the hair's surface. Also known for it's color protection and fiber repairing in hair.

Panthenol: Provitamin of Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), long lasting moisturizer to protect against hair damage, tame unwanted frizz and improve lustre and sheen.

Niacinamide:Known to support an array of hair and scalp issues, Niacinamide can regulate an oily scalp and dry ends, and provide an optimal growth environment for healthy, shiny hair.

Parabens

Chemical Preservatives

Studies have suggested that exposure to parabens may disrupt hormonal balance and potentially increase the risk of certain health issues, including skin cancer. For this reason, they are generally considered bad for your health but they also contribute to dry frizzy hair and a dry flaky scalp.

SLES & ALS

ALS and SLES are surfactants added to many beauty products, used to create the foaming action associated with cleansing products

ALS and SLES can be harsh, abrasive, drying and damaging for your hair. They can be irritating to skin, fade hair color, and cause hair to become brittle.

Triclosan

Triclosan is a chemical ingredient added to many different products. The chemical has antibacterial properties that prevent or stop bacterial growth and contamination.

Triclosan is an endocrine-disrupting chemical. That means it can harm your endocrine system, leading to issues with proper hormone function. Some animal studies have shown that exposure to high amounts of the ingredient may cause a decrease in certain thyroid hormones.

EDTA

EDTA acts as a chelator. It “grabs” metal ions that can affect the stability and / or appearance of cosmetic products. EDTA is used to counter the hardness of water in rinse-off products.

The concern regarding EDTA stemming from studies done on animals, have shown broad systemic effects, brain and nervous system effects at low doses, endocrine disruption, and reproductive effects at high doses. Some sites suggest carcinogenic potential stems from its synthesis process, which involves ethylenediamine, formaldehyde (recognized as a carcinogen by the National Cancer Institute), and sodium cyanide (produced from the toxic hydrogen cyanide).
